The Faster 73 CAT CCTOP is an open-deck catamaran built on the same proven twin-hull platform as the 73 CAT series. The centrally positioned steering console with T-top roof provides shelter from sun and rain while leaving the full bow and stern deck unobstructed and accessible for operational use.
The centre console position allows precise manoeuvring in confined spaces — harbour basins, narrow waterways, and coastal inlets — making the 73 CAT CCTOP a practical choice for oil spill recovery operations. Fitted with a side collector, the vessel can work effectively in restricted environments where larger recovery platforms cannot operate.
Dual outboard engines mounted to the stern transom give the crew accurate control in all conditions.
